A very happy snowman

Hi and Happy Friday Everyone!

I have another card for you today featuring the November PaperCard Kit and all the yummy goodies from the My Mind’s Eye Colorful Christmas Collection.

How cute is that little snowman? Don’t you just want to reach into your screen and squeeze those little cheeks? I know I do!

For this card, I thought that the burlap cardstock would make a lovely, dramatic card base, combined with the sweet DP from the MME collection. So lovely that I used my Oval Nestabilities to cut a frame from the paper to highlight the little snowman. It would be a shame to cover up all that lovely burlap texture! Seriously, you NEED to feel this card stock. Warning though – you WILL want to  hoard it.

Oh, and did you notice how many elements I used from the punch-out accessories page? Let’s see

  • two of the snow-flakes (the third is a chipboard snowflake from the kit)
  • the decorative scalloped border along both sides of the DP
  • the orange “ribbon” behind the sentiment AND
  • the sentiment

How easy peasy does this kit make it for us to catch up on all our Christmas cards? I think Peggy has a winner on her hands with this one – at least in my books! If you haven’t picked up your kit, be sure to check out the store before the end of November.
