PWCO Sunday Sketch #8
It’s sunday!!! and we have a sketch this time!
You know you are doing something right when the minute you ask for help, a rush of people comes knocking and rolling up their sleeves.
Take for example, last Sunday. If you had read the posts, you would have known that my laptop, (and basically anything graphical) was sick. He was sent to TO to undergo surgery. Well he came back in one piece, but suffers a severe case of amnesia. (the hard drive died, and I had a brand new one installed). Needless to say everything was lost, BUT the good news is I do have things on back up, so i will be up and running by next week.
Anyhow, since my computer died, I couldn’t do much with the sketches. So last week, I asked for help. I asked that if anyone has some cool sketches or make some I can use I will be forever in debt!
And sure enough, I had MANY responses and sketches coming to my email. I am so touched! so thank you for all those who lent a helping hand to make this sunday a better sunday!
so I went though to “sketch reserve” and picked out this one…
This sketch was done by Banu H.
Banu had this WONDERFUL sketch, and I couldnt help but to use it right away! It’s really a sweet design, Clean cuts, smart layers, and the scalloped edge adds some fun dimension.
Using Banu’s sketch, I was able to make a card in a jiffy.. it took me all of 20mins to make it. Dawn Easton would be ever so proud (she’s my 30min card inspiration).
For the past few sketches, I have been heavily using the Little Loud Stamps, and I really wanted a change of pace. When my sister asked me to make a “miss you” card, I immediately thought of Zoie. I added some dimension by cutting out zoie and popping it with foam tape, and then adding more foam tape onto the green panel. (im pulling a “sheena and her (mis)use of the foamies!) lol
I really liked the sentiment that goes with it, and hope my sister would find the card “good enough” to send to her friend. and if not, she can go make it herself! lol
Materials:
Hope to see all the new projects you make with this sketches.
Again SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERYONE for helping out, and a HUGE thanks to BANU for allowing me to use her sketch! YOU ROCK!
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

Hi Peggy
Thanks for using my sketch and your card is just way tooo neat
Awesome. The DP and paper colors have all come together so well. Very nice.
QQ – Did you cut the sentiments out that way or did you do some masking?
Off to upload my card to the gallery.
Thanks!
Banu

Hi banu:
To answer your question: I stamp the sentiment on the ivory cardstock, had to mask some of the words though
