The Power of “Persuasion”
So many of the lovely papers from the Bo Bunny “Persuasion” collection in this kit helped to simplify my decisions when it came to making cards. To use Tinla’s apt description – the “swirly, doodly” effect is quite charming and really does help one easily visualize a layout just from its’ design. Once again, the pressure was off as the design papers worked their magic and kind of steered me through the layout process. Now, that’s the power of Persuasion!
The multi-layers of hearts cut out by using Nestabilities really helped to draw your eye to this sweet little hedgie by Penny Black. It was fussy cut and popped up with dimensional foam tape, then Stickles were used in the centers of the flower bouquet he’s holding and also inside a couple of the flower centers on the design paper. The “You and Me” sentiment was not a stamp but were words that randomly appear on the designer paper. How lucky for me to have it all work out that way!
Because the design papers are so pretty that I’m struggling against cutting them, I’ve been tending to go with making 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” cards to showcase them instead. I’m sure you’ll understand. Just work with these papers and you will experience their powerful force over your designs.

A lovely card Judy – and I totally agree with you – I want to make cards that use the full size of the papers because they are so pretty and I find it hard to cut into them!

Judy, so cute… I love the ribbon treatment you used to accent the colors in the designer paper! And I really liked how you used your Copics to color the Hedgehog. That’s the nice thing about Copics – they give you so much vibrancy when coloring. TFS!
