Samples using Zach the Football Player

Here’s some samples using Zach the Football Player

By Nikki

When I got Zach the Football Player in the mail I was so excited. This past year my son started playing football. I KNOW this is one stamp that is going to get a lot of use at my house. I live in a “football town.”

Recently my son has become a HUGE Notre Dame fan. We just redid his bedroom in all Notre Dame paraphernalia . When my son was home sick recently, we watched the movie, “RUDY”…..3 TIMES! My son pointed out that they shared the same number ( high school) and that he wanted to play at Notre Dame someday. What an awesome dream. I knew I had to use this stamp to make him a birthday card using Notre Dame colors. I bet he is going to LOVE it! This card is a side step card and is super easy and fun to make. I made the banner from a free digital and some wooden skewers. I can just see us using this for end of the year parties for football. My son has already requested that we use it to make his Valentine’s this year.

As some of you may know, Super Bowl Sunday is only days away. I know that my husband and son will be watching it. ( my daughter and I will probably be in the basement crafting and watching something else)

My little guy is routing for the Saints. I decided to make him this for the game. I’m going to put M & M’s inside. That way he can eat them alone or add them to the popcorn that he and his dad will be sharing. This was one of those projects that just didn’t seem to want to work out for me. However, ANYTHING with M &M’s is sure to be a hit! I’m telling you, if you have a football fan in the house you are going to NEED this stampJ Just think of all the possibilities!

    Materials Used:

  • Stamps: Zach the Football Player, Sporting
  • Ink: Black Memento, Choc Chip Craft, Copics: Y26,17,E29,57,00,C10, colorless blender,
  • Paper: football DP, Choc Chip, Prism US white and ivory
  • Other: twill, circle punch, star punch, button, dimensionals,  scor tape
